# Web3 Finance Insurance Fund (WIF)

The W3F Insurance Fund, abbreviated WIF, is a separate wallet in W3F's CAP system. The WIF employs an algorithm that supports the Rebase Rewards; and is funded by a portion of the buy and sell trading fees accumulated in the WIF wallet. Simply put, the WIF parameter backs the staking rewards (rebase rewards) that are distributed every 10 minutes at a rate of 0.017 percent, ensuring a high and stable interest rate to W3F token holders.
